Job Summary

Performs statistical modeling and analysis of structured and unstructured datasets to develop metrics, reports, and visualizations of trends and patterns.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with stakeholders to understand and define business requirements for operational and analytical reports.
  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Performs data cleansing, validation, and document data definitions. Establishes business rules and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports.
  • Designs, develops, and maintains interactive dashboards, visualizations, and reports using business intelligence tools.
  • Uses analytics and metrics to improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts of potential costs, risks, and profiles of new business initiatives.
  • Queries and manipulates data using SQL to extract and transform data from databases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ad-hoc data analysis requests.
  • Presents findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Experience

  • 6 years’ relevant

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)

Level Specific Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define and execute data-driven strategies that align with business objectives
  • Ensures data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with data privacy regulations through robust data governance practices
  • Provides guidance and mentorship to junior members of the data analysis teams, fostering their professional growth
  • Stays up to date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in data analysis.

Accountability/Complexity:

  • May manage projects requiring the responsibility of delegation of work and review of resulting work product
  • Works independently under limited supervision
  • May be responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and/or training to other employees within job area
  • May function as a team lead and/or assistant to the supervisor/manager
