Job Summary
Performs statistical modeling and analysis of structured and unstructured datasets to develop metrics, reports, and visualizations of trends and patterns.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborates with stakeholders to understand and define business requirements for operational and analytical reports.
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Performs data cleansing, validation, and document data definitions. Establishes business rules and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports.
- Designs, develops, and maintains interactive dashboards, visualizations, and reports using business intelligence tools.
- Uses analytics and metrics to improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts of potential costs, risks, and profiles of new business initiatives.
- Queries and manipulates data using SQL to extract and transform data from databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ad-hoc data analysis requests.
- Presents findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)
Level Specific Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define and execute data-driven strategies that align with business objectives
- Ensures data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with data privacy regulations through robust data governance practices
- Provides guidance and mentorship to junior members of the data analysis teams, fostering their professional growth
- Stays up to date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in data analysis.
Accountability/Complexity:
- May manage projects requiring the responsibility of delegation of work and review of resulting work product
- Works independently under limited supervision
- May be responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and/or training to other employees within job area
- May function as a team lead and/or assistant to the supervisor/manager
