The Opportunity
We are seeking a Delivery Driver to join our Own Fleet team at our fulfilment centre in Brisbane. This is a casual position. The role is fast-paced, requiring both independent work and collaboration to achieve daily targets.
The position commences from 17 March 2025, with a one-week induction and training before you begin delivering to customers.
What You'll Be Doing
• Operating a 1 or 2-tonne delivery vehicle safely at all times.
• Loading your vehicle using safe lifting techniques with pre-sorted orders.
• Ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of products in line with company standards.
• Conducting pre- and post-shift vehicle safety checks.
• Communicating with the fleet team regarding any on-shift issues.
• Working towards daily and weekly performance targets.
• Contributing to a positive team culture within the fleet and fulfilment teams.
What Success Looks Like
• Strict adherence to safety policies and procedures to protect yourself, team members, and the public.
• Meeting all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) associated with the role.
• Physical fitness to lift and carry orders up to 25kg and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
• Confidence using technology for scanning parcels and capturing proof-of-delivery photos.
• Reporting safety incidents/issues immediately to a Supervisor or Manager.
About You
• Hold a valid Class C Australian Driver’s Licence with a safe driving record.
• Familiarity with driving in the Brisbane region (multi-drop courier experience preferred).
• Experience using a handheld scanning device for deliveries.
• Physically fit, with the ability to lift and carry packages up to 25kg.
• A reliable and committed work ethic.
• A friendly nature and ability to provide an excellent customer delivery experience.
