Intern for the World’s Leading Dog and Cat Products Supplier

As an intern at PetSafe Brands, you can expect to experience:

• Coffee & Conversation: Throughout your time with us, you’ll have the opportunity to sit with different leaders across the organization in a panel discussion over coffee to ask questions about our culture, products, and their role at PetSafe Brands.
• Training: You’ll receive training throughout your internship in the areas of PetSafe Brands culture, goal setting, presentation skills, and you’ll have the opportunity to practice the information you learn on the job!
• Collaboration: You will be given opportunity to work cross functionally throughout PSB and gain experience working with different business units on a daily basis!

What projects/responsibilities would this intern be learning and taking on?:

We are seeking a motivated and creative Media Production Intern to join our dynamic team. The intern will assist in producing high-quality photo and video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in media production, photography, videography, and post-production editing. Candidate can have an emphasis on photography or videography.

Key Responsibilities:

• Photo & Video Production:
  • Assist with the shooting and production of photos and/or videos for campaigns, events, and internal projects.
  • Help with setting up lighting, cameras, and equipment for shoots.
  • Capture high-quality photos and/or video content for use in digital and print media.
• Post-Production:
  • Edit and process photos and/or videos, including color correction, sound editing, and adding graphics.
  • Assist with the organization of raw footage and/or photo assets for easy access by the team.
• Content Creation:
  • Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and plan photo and video content that aligns with brand goals.
  • Help with creative direction, including storyboarding and conceptualizing ideas.
• Equipment Maintenance & Support:
  • Assist in maintaining and organizing production equipment, including cameras, lighting, and accessories.
  • Troubleshoot minor technical issues during shoots.
• General Assistance:
  • Support media production team with various administrative and creative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Film, Photography, Media Production, or a related field.
• Proficiency with photo and video equipment, including DSLR cameras, lighting setups, and sound recording equipment.
• Basic knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) and photo editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.).
• Creative and proactive attitude, with a strong eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience with media production or a portfolio of personal projects is a plus.
