Job Summary:
Pets Best is seeking a Medical Records Administrator who will report to the Supervisor, Claims. The Medical Records Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support such as creating and in-completing claims, uploading/attaching and reviewing petโs medical records, routing claims appropriately according to the situation, is responsible for researching what is needed to complete the claim, and will request that information accurately.

Main Responsibilities:
- Enters or imports documents and policy information into the policy management system for processing
- Enters/imports and analyzes pet medical record information
- Handles and routes claims according to the situation using the policy management system for processing
- Input claim line items accurately and efficiently
- Enters or imports documents and policy information into the policy management system for processing
- Daily contact with all internal departments
- Attends and participates in team meetings as needed
- Provides other administrative support as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- 50+ Words per minute typing speed
- Minimum 6 year recent experience in Veterinary fieldโ
- Administrative experience within the veterinary industry
- Licensed veterinary technicians are strongly preferred
- Strong computer skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to write professional letters
Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time position: Days and hours to be determined by needs of business. Hours will consist of 8 hour shift options starting from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. EST, Monday through Friday
