Summary:

Oversees the activities of the day-to-day operations of a functional area within the organization.. Manages the implementation and operationalization of initiatives to ensure compliance with

applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Core Responsibilities:

· Engages with internal and external stakeholders.

· Prepares communication materials, business cases, funding requests, and presentations to gain acceptance for strategic plans from stakeholders.

· Ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

· Assists with new business opportunities and implementations.

· Develops appropriate process improvement recommendations and conclusions.

· Provides point of escalation, as needed.

· Develops and implements policies, and procedures. .

· Coaches, mentors, and develops team members.

· Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Level Specific Responsibilities:

· Develops and implements long-term strategy that aligns with the organization’s vision and goals

· Identifies and leads key initiatives to improve processes, systems, and capabilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement

· Provides thought leadership and expertise on trends and best practices

Accountability/Complexity:

· Typically leads a small- to mid-sized team consisting of experienced professionals.

· Leads, directs, and reviews the work of a team who exercises latitude and independence in their assignments.

· Focuses on policy and strategy implementation for short-term results (1 year or less).

· Provides measurable input to new products, processes and/or standards in operational plans that will have some impact on the achievement of overall function results.

Requirements:

Experience: 8 years’ relevant experience to include direct or indirect leadership

Education: Bacholers Degree or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)
