Summary of Position:

Develop inspection standard and planning, oversee the operations of inspectors, review supplier’s quality data and performance; participate in verification and validation of product development and product change; use the data and quality tools to lead/drive the improvements when the quality issues arise

Responsibilities:

• Develop Product Quality Assurance Plan for outgoing products, oversee the operations of inspectors in compliance with the inspection requirements.

• Product/process audits of plastic injections and assemblies to verify the product and process in compliance with specifications and working instructions.

• Evaluate product and components in compliance with drawing and test standard, qualify and approve the admission of productions.

• Quality test plans for new product development and product changes, as the facilitator to participate in design review such as FMEA, arrange reliability test, verify pilot run samples and test data, and follow up the quality issues until they are closed.

• Drive/lead resolutions of quality issues on customer complaints, defects out of outgoing inspections and nonconformities out of manufacturing process.

• Review supplier’s quality data and manage supplier quality performance, schedule supplier quality process audit to ensure the operations comply with industry practice and customer’s requirements.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in plastic molding/injection process
• Certified quality engineer, green six sigma belt or quality auditor
• Minimum 3 years related experiences
• Multiple communication skills: speaking and writing English and Chinese (Mandarin)
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/polymer engineering or science.
