IPH is seeking a Senior Manager, Employee Experience to lead the operational aspect of people services, including the development and implementation of employee relations policies, and manage employee relation cases in collaboration with the legal team, People Partners, and Total Rewards. Manage the logistical aspects of global mobility across various entities of the IPH group.
Specifically, the following areas of focus
- Employee Experience and People Services: Lead and manage the People Services function and team and leverage and build a scalable service model. Gather and analyze employee feedback across all levels regularly and revising people programs and policies to generate more positive outcomes.
- Employee Relations Management: Build employee relations functional capability and serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, investigating and resolving complex or critical employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner. Lead investigations for IPH Lighthouse complaints and employee relations issues in collaboration with the legal team.
- Global Mobility: Maintain compliance with immigration and tax regulations with global mobility within IPH to include visa process.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Stay abreast of legal and regulatory changes to ensure compliance with employment laws impacting employee relations and global mobility. Mitigate risks related to employee relations issues, providing proactive advice and solutions to minimize legal exposure.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze employee relations data, trends, and metrics to identify areas of concern or improvement
- Standardize and document people team processes and identify people services that can be transitioned to tier 0 (automated in Workday) or tier 1 (moved to People Services team for ownership)
- Handle employee complaints, manage grievance procedures, and facilitate counseling with other stakeholders in tiered partnership with People Partners and Legal.
- Models best practices in interviewing techniques and mastery of empathy, confidentiality, and connecting themes
- Foster open communication channels between employees and management, promoting transparency and trust
- Recommend and implement solutions to resolve employee relations issues and promote a positive work environment.
- Provide guidance and coaching on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedure
- Participating in and/or leading projects focused on continuous improvement.
- Partnering with senior business stakeholders and HR teams to develop and implement Employee Relations best practices and programs.
- Seeks input from peers, managers, and appropriate stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and IPH policies.
- Develop and harmonize HR compliance policies where applicable across IPH?
- Support performance management process, including disciplinary process, performance improvement plans, performance reviews, and goal setting.
- Partner with legal to establish standard templates for investigations and disciplinary process.
- Provide one-on-one consulting/coaching with senior/executive business leaders, or by engaging relevant stakeholders and People partners in capability building conversations
Supervisory Responsibility:
- Lead people services team.
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal employment laws to ensure compliance and making informed recommendations in employee relations matters.
- Ability to handle and resolve conflicts effectively, including conducting investigations, mediating disputes, and providing guidance on conflict resolution strategies.
- Proficiency in conducting fair and thorough investigations into employee complaints, misconduct allegations and other ER issues while maintaining confidentiality and impartiality.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate and thorough documentation of employee relations activities, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and resolutions.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills to relate and partner at all levels of the organization as well as with external partners.
- High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- Ability to manage and facilitate change within the organization, particularly in relation to employee relations policies and practices.
- Strong communicator with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
- Collaborate effectively with people team, legal counsel, and management to achieve organizational goals and promote a positive work environment.
- Flexible resilient manage multiple priorities, handle challenging situations, and adapt to change.

Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources
- 5+ years of experience focused on Employee Relations
- 2+ years experience with Workday
- Previous M&A integration experience is highly desired
- Previous Global Mobility experience is highly desired
- Travel to IPH sites may be required
